Blending oils
Once you have selected appropriate essential oils. they should be added
to a carrier oil. Grapeseed is excellent for this purpose as well as being
the least expensive. Other suitable oils include soya, sweet almond, peach
or avocado. If possible, oils should be 100 per cent unrefined and cold
pressed. To preserve your blend add a few drops of wheatgerm oil which
is rich in the antioxidant vitamin E.
1. For a full body massage use 15 drops essential oil to 30 ml carrier oil.
2. Pour the blend into an airtight bottle and store in
a cool dark place.
3. A plastic bottle with a flip-top lid is preferable for
when you are massaging.
Soothing and relaxing blend
This blend is ideal for stress, tension and insomnia.
5 drops neroli essential oil
3 drops Roman camomile essential oil
6 drops lavender essential oil
30 ml carrier oil
Aphrodisiac
This blend is perfect for a romantic massage.

drops sandalwood essential oil
4 drops clary sage essential oil
5 drops of either rose, jasmine or ylang ylang essential oil
30 ml carrier oil
Blend for aching muscles
Use this blend to relieve and revive aching muscles.
6 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops rosemary essential oil
4 drops black pepper essential oil
30 ml carrier oil
